About me

Art is an essential part of my life. Like almost all Abstract Expressionist painters, my works originate from within, conveying a subjective inner reality, rather than an external objective reality.
I feel that there is no need to explore the reality as it is in the twentieth century, especially after the discovery of the camera. Ever since the development of the theory of psychotherapy there is a growing need in art to explore emotions and represent our inner feelings with overflowing colors and forms...
Never the less I can not conceal the reality around me, therefore, my abstract paintings are not an absolute abstract, and the figurative is always present.
The extremely expressive paintings are drawn in a passionate way using every bit of energy flowing through my arms, hands, and fingers in a spontaneous rush. The colors used are a reflection of my emotional state.
My underlying driving source for my paintings is the unconscious a “dream like”’ state of mind and I challenge the observers to discover and reflect their inner feelings onto the same canvas.
